Rule 2: Timing is everything, but not everyone uses the same timing system. Know your zones.

Today we are going to looking to time zones. The world is subject to anywhere between 40 to 80 different calendars; this is on top of the total number of unique standard time offsets from UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) is around 37 to 40. When it comes to understanding the story of the world, timing becomes the cryptographic key to unlock the secrets of the universe.
Calendars in Use
Gregorian Calendar:
The most widely used calendar globally for civil and official purposes, it began with the year of the birth of Jesus Christ (AD 1).
Islamic Calendar:
Used for religious purposes in many Muslim countries, it starts with the year 1 AH (1 AH = 622 CE), the year of the Hijra.
Jewish Calendar:
Primarily used for religious observances in Judaism, it marks the start of its era at the creation of the world, corresponding to 3761 BCE.
Chinese Calendar:
A lunisolar calendar used in China for traditional holidays and agricultural purposes, it began in the year corresponding to 2637 BCE.
Hindu Calendars:
Several calendars are used in India and by Hindus, with the Saka era (78 CE) being used in some traditions.
Julian Calendar:
A solar calendar that was the precursor to the Gregorian, used by the Roman Empire and still in use by some Orthodox churches.
Persian (Solar Hijri) Calendar:
Used in Iran and Afghanistan, it began with the Hijra in 622 CE, but is solar-based.
How Calendars Are Structured
Calendars are based on astronomical cycles and can be solar, lunar, or lunisolar:
Solar Calendars: Follow the Earth's orbit around the sun (e.g., Gregorian, Julian).
Lunar Calendars: Follow the cycles of the Moon (e.g., the early Islamic calendar).
Lunisolar Calendars: Combine both solar and lunar cycles to keep both aligned (e.g., Chinese, some early Jewish calendars).
Astronomical vs Ordinal Julian Dates
When it comes to understanding military and astronomical history, there is a need to understand how they standardize time. This is done through through the stars!!!
Indiction: a fiscal period of fifteen years used as a means of dating events and transactions in the Roman Empire and in the papal and some royal courts. The system was instituted by the Emperor Constantine in AD 313 and was used until the 16th century in some places.
Golden Number: a number assigned to each year in sequence which is used to indicate the dates of all the calendric new moons for each year in a 19-year Metonic cycle. They are used in computus and also in Runic calendars.
Solar Number: a position within the solar cycle of a specific calendar system, such as the 28-year Julian cycle or the 400-year Gregorian cycle
Ordinal Julian Date (Military/Industry Use): The Julian date is also commonly used in the military, logistics, and food industries (often called the Ordinal Date or Day-of-Year). This format simplifies the date into a five-digit code: YYDDD (Year + Day of the Year).
Everyone is anticipating this great act to begin, but what they are missing is that there is not a single act. There are many acts over time that build the framework of society.
More to come, but until then remember... stay alive.
