The System was built to engineer happiness.

I know, I know, I was suppose to write two days ago, but the truth is I shut things down for the weekend and decided to ignore the world for 48 blissful hours. I know that time could have been used helping uncover the secrets used by the dark and depraved, but if we fail to rest what good are we? Exhaustion breeds mistakes and enables manipulation.

"There are only three ways to motivate people: money, fear, and hunger". - Ron Swanson, Parks and Rec

Today we are looking at some foundational American political texts from the past 100 years to understand the mindset of the RINOs and DINOs as each attempt to figure out how to engineer their own idea of happiness with little regard to what happens to those that refuse the system entirely.

The System was built by RINOs

  1. The Heritage Foundation

    1. The Heritage Foundation was established in 1973 with the mission to formulate and promote public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense.

    2. The goal was to counter more liberal think tanks in the Washington, DC area and influence public policies based on conservative solutions.

  2. The Contract with America

    1. Written by Newt Gingrich and Richard K. Armey (published by the Heritage Foundation), this legislative agenda was the running platform of Republicans during the 1994 election cycle.

    2. The Contract consisted of eight major operational reforms and ten major policy changes on the following topics:

      1. Require all laws that apply to the rest of the country also apply to Congress;

      2. Select a major, independent auditing firm to conduct a comprehensive audit of Congress for waste, fraud or abuse;

      3. Cut the number of House committees, and cut committee staff by one-third;

      4. Limit the terms of all committee chairs;

      5. Ban the casting of proxy votes in committee;

      6. Require committee meetings to be open to the public;

      7. Require a three-fifths majority vote to pass a tax increase;

      8. Guarantee an honest accounting of the federal budget by implementing zero base-line budgeting.

  3. Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB)

    1. Start from Zero: Instead of adjusting the previous budget, you start from a completely blank slate for each new period.

    2. Justify All Expenses: Every proposed expense, from small operating costs to major projects, must be justified based on its necessity and contribution to strategic objectives.

    3. Allocate Every Dollar: All your income is assigned a specific job, whether it's for spending, saving, or debt repayment.

    4. Align with Goals: The process helps ensure that spending is aligned with current strategic priorities, leading to increased cost awareness and accountability.

  4. Reaganomics

    1. Using ZBB, Reagan was the pretty face with a charismatic demeanor that the Republican Party needed to create "buy in" from the American people.

    2. Instead of the use it or lose it mentality, Reaganomics was use it for the approved reasons or lose it and reimburse the government for the unapproved expenditures.

    3. The idea was that the collective would ensure that resources were divided and used to ensure everyone had the necessities for life.

  5. Project 2025

    1. The Heritage Foundation will not let this idea go despite the fact that their "champions" have no intentions of ensuring resources are divided or that they are used to ensure everyone has what they need.

    2. It all comes down to their idea of a major, independent auditing firm maintaining the books and deciding what is approved and what is not approved.

Within this system, the RINOs and DINOs disagree on:
  1. What is an approved use of finances.

    1. RINOs think this is anything to sustain life.

    2. DINOs think this should be anything the people ask for.

  2. Who gets to decide what is approved.

    1. RINOs think this is up to whoever pays the bill.

    2. DINOs think this is up to the people.

  3. Who ultimately pays the bills.

    1. RINOs think "someone else."

    2. DINOs think the collective does.

Let me be clear, these are senile pirates, thieves, and murderers fighting over how to divide the spoils of war while attempting to figure out how much it will cost to find the elixir of life. They use fear because they are afraid - and they should be.

Tomorrow, I'll send the Rules for Operating in the System. Until then... just stay alive.

XOXO, Sapiophielle
